William Gallas has criticised two Tottenham Hotspur players.
Spurs drew 1-1 with Fulham in North London on Wednesday night as Jose Mourinho’s side missed a big chance to keep alive their Premier League title hopes.
Tottenham, who are now sixth in the table and six points adrift, conceded in the final 15 minutes through Ivan Cavaleiro.
First, Ademola Lookman beat Davinson Sanchez to the line and stood up a great cross for the Cottagers attacker, who beat Eric Dier in the air to level things up.
And former Tottenham defender Gallas has claimed on Instagram that Sanchez and Dier simply must do better than that.
Dier is well liked by Lilywhites boss Jose Mourinho, but Sanchez isn’t as popular.
The Colombia international has barely played in the Premier League since the 3-3 draw with West Ham United back in October and Mourinho won’t have been pleased to see Lookman beat him so easily en route to the equaliser.
This was a big chance for Sanchez to impress but, unfortunately for him, he struggled and now it remains to be seen if he’ll get another chance in this competition.
