According to The Sun, Derby County are facing administration and have made Louie Sibley and Jason Knight available as a result.
While this is awful news for the Rams, it should come as music to the ears of Leeds and West Ham.

Why? Well, according to the Mirror, Leeds wanted to sign Sibley. However, Victor Orta was put off by the £15 million asking price.
Now. however, that fee has surely dropped with Derby desperate for cash.
In West Ham’s case, the Irish Mirror said that the Hammers and Crystal Palace were interested in signing Knight.

The 19-year-old Rams striker looks a real prospect, and one who Wayne Rooney said reminded him of himself at that age.
The Manchester United and England icon told Rams TV: ‘I’ve been really impressed with the way they’ve trained, particularly Knighty. His energy, his attitude. He almost reminds me of myself when I was younger in terms of no fear.’
The Sun state that Derby were desperately anticipating the proposed takeover by Sheikh Khaled’s Derventio Holdings.

However, the money is yet to come through, and the Championship strugglers do not have the funds to pay their players’ wages.
It is a real mess of a situation, and it looks as if both Sibley and Knight will need to be sacrificed for the greater good of the club.
While that will crush Derby, the Premier League vultures will almost certainly be circling Pride Park.
